This lower unit is in great condition and is ready for installation. All you have to do is add oil! We took the time to professionally clean and inspect this item to give you confidence in your purchase. The paint on the unit is scuffed and scratched. From the top of the water pump to the end, the driveshaft measures approximately 19" long and has a 20/15 spline count. All of the splines are in great shape. The gears and clutch are in good condition. The cavitation plate is ground down on the front of the unit, see pictures. The skeg is in good condition but the paint is scuffed and scratched. **Due to shipping restrictions, lower unit are shipped empty. Every lower unit requires new oil to be added when you receive it.

To obtain the 1 year warranty, you MUST send in your core lower unit. We will even pay to have your core shipped to us! Below is the criteria required to validate the warranty:

• Core must be of rebuildable quality
• Cannot be locked up - driveshaft must spin
• Up to 30 days from the date of purchase to send in your core
• Covers mechanical aspects ONLY
• Warranty begins from date of purchase
• Core must be complete and cannot be missing parts

You will receive two copies of the terms and conditions for the lower unit 1 year warranty. One copy MUST be signed and returned with your core. Without a returned signed copy, the 1 year warranty will not be valid. 

Upon receipt of your core, we will inspect the unit to determine if it meets the criteria to validate the 1 year warranty. We reserve the right to accept or reject any core at our discretion.

Please note that we will not accept returns for this item if ordered incorrectly. Please be absolutely sure this is the correct one for your motor prior to purchasing.
