This unit spins and shifts smoothly. The propeller shaft is straight and the driveshaft splines are in good condition.  The paint has been stripped and a coat of primer applied.  The cavitation plate has been ground down but that should not affect performance.  The driveshaft measures 18-3/4" from the top of the water pump and has 20 splines. The prop shaft has 15 splines. This unit is fully resealed and pressure hecked with a new impeller installed.  Backed by a 1 year warranty you can purchase this unit with confidence!  Please refer to the photos to verify what is included in this listing and the condition these parts are in prior to ordering.

**Due to shipping restrictions, lower unit are shipped empty. Every lower unit requires new oil to be added when you receive it.

To obtain the 1 year warranty, you MUST send in your core lower unit. We will even pay to have your core shipped to us! Below is the criteria required to validate the warranty:

• Core must be of rebuildable quality
• Cannot be locked up - driveshaft must spin
• Up to 30 days from the date of purchase to send in your core
• Covers mechanical aspects ONLY
• Warranty begins from date of purchase
• Core must be complete and cannot be missing parts

You will receive two copies of the terms and conditions for the lower unit 1 year warranty. One copy MUST be signed and returned with your core. Without a returned signed copy, the 1 year warranty will not be valid. 

Upon receipt of your core, we will inspect the unit to determine if it meets the criteria to validate the 1 year warranty. We reserve the right to accept or reject any core at our discretion.
