| Additional Info | This is a very good gearcase. We drained it and the lower unit oil was in great shape, with no signs of metal or water. The skeg is in great shape. This has been pressure-tested this unit, and it does no hold pressure. We reccomend installing a new seal kit and a new impeller before use. There are some scuffs and scratches in the paint, but nothing that will affect the overall performance. Due to the age of the lower unit, we do recommend a new seal kit. From the top of the water pump to the tip of the driveshaft, the shaft measures approximately 21-1/2" long and has 4 splines. The splines are all in great condition. Because have this listed for parts or repair, we virtually cannot accept returns on this unit. Please confirm that this is exact match to your current lower unit prior to purchasing. |
