| Additional Info | This was removed from a freshwater Nissan engine. There are 18 splines on the driveshaft, and 15 splines on the propeller shaft. The driveshaft measures 19-1/2" inches from the top of the waterpump to the end of the shaft. All of the shaft and splines, are straight with no damaged. When opened we noticed that the gears were in excellent condition with almost no wear at all. Everything spins smoothly like it should. Please note that the cavitation plate has been welded. We do recommend that you install a new seal kit and impeller prior to use, as well as add oil. Because we have this listed for parts or repair only, we virtually cannot accept returns on this lower unit. Please confirm closely that this is the correct one for your motor prior to purchasing. |
