This lower unit is in good used condition and was removed from a freshwater setup. We have professionally inspected this unit to guarantee it to be in good, working condition. The paint does have minor scuffs and scratches, but nothing that will affect the performance.  It does look like it has been touched up on the front of the housing.  Unit spins and shifts smoothly with no binding and the prop shaft is straight.  The driveshaft splines are showing slight wear.  When the oil was drained, no water or metal was found.  The gears and clutch are in good condition with slight wear showing on reverse gear clutch surface.  The skeg has small chips out of the end and this will not affect performance or integrity.  The unit has been fully resealed and pressure checked with a new impeller installed.  There have been holed pre-drilled in the cavitation plate in preparation for planing fins that will not affect performance.  Please refer to the photos to verify both what is included in this listing and the condition everything is in.  Given our unprecedented 1 year warranty on every lower unit, you will never find a better deal on an OEM lower unit. Please add oil before installation as these units are drained of all oil prior to shipping. Purchase with confidence!

You will receive two copies of the terms and conditions for the lower unit 1 year warranty. One copy MUST be signed and returned with your core. Without a returned signed copy, the 1 year warranty will not be valid. 

Upon receipt of your core, we will inspect the unit to determine if it meets the criteria to validate the 1 year warranty. We reserve the right to accept or reject any core at our discretion. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us and we would be happy to help!
