This unit was removed from a freshwater engine. This shifts and spins smoothly and has a straight propeller shaft. This unit has been opened and inspected. It has new seals and new impeller installed. It has been pressured checked to 12 PSI. This is ready for use after oil is installed. 


This shaft measures 21-3/4" from the top of the waterpump to the top of the driveshaft. This has a 20" shaft but only takes a few minutes to change, by removing the waterpump and the shaft pulls right out if you wanted to install the 15 inch shaft.

To obtain the 1 year warranty, you MUST send in your core lower unit. We will even pay to have your core shipped to us! Below is the criteria required to validate the warranty:

  • Core must be of rebuildable quality
  • Cannot be locked up - driveshaft must spin
  • Up to 30 days from the date of purchase to send in your core
  • Covers mechanical aspects ONLY
  • Warranty begins from date of purchase
  • Core must be complete and cannot be missing parts

You will receive two copies of the terms and conditions for the lower unit 1 year warranty. One copy MUST be signed and returned with your core. Without a returned signed copy, the one year warranty will not be valid. 

Upon receipt of your core, we will inspect the unit to determine if it meets the criteria to validate the 1 year warranty. We reserve the right to accept or reject any core at our discretion.
