This unit was removed from a freshwater engine. This shifts and spins smoothly and has a straight propeller shaft. This did not pass the pressure check test that we complete so we are selling this as is. We recommend that this unit has a complete reseal and new impeller installed. This shaft measures 21.5" from the top of the waterpump to the top of the driveshaft. This has a 20" shaft but only takes a few minutes to change, by removing the waterpump and the shaft pulls right out if you wanted to install the 15 inch shaft. The screens are broke and will need to replaced before installation. With a little bit of work this unit could be a great replacement.
