 This Johnson Evinrude lower unit is in excellent condition and ready for installation. The unit came to us as a new take off. Please note that there are various scuffs and scratches from storage, therfore we have cleaned them up so they are in like-new condition again. We installed a brand new water pump on this unit when we received it. From the top of the water pump to the end of the shaft, this measures approximately 19-1/4" long and has 17 splines. The propeller shaft has 13 splines. Both shafts and splines are in new condition and are not damaged in any way. Please note that we cannot ship lower units with oil so this will have to be added prior to installation.

To obtain the 1 year warranty, you MUST send in your core lower unit. We will even pay to have your core shipped to us! Below is the criteria required to validate the warranty:

  • Core must be of rebuildable quality
  • Cannot be locked up - driveshaft must spin
  • Up to 30 days from the date of purchase to send in your core
  • Covers mechanical aspects ONLY
  • Warranty begins from date of purchase
  • Core must be complete and cannot be missing parts

Upon receipt of your core, we will inspect the unit to determine if it meets the criteria to validate the 1 year warranty. We reserve the right to accept or reject any core at our discretion.
