This lower unit is in excellent used condition and READY TO INSTALL! Take a look at the pictures - this looks brand new!  We have taken the time to professionally inspect this lower unit.  This unit spins smoothly with no binding.  The driveshaft splines are in good condition and the prop shaft is straight.  When drained, the oil was clean and free of metal or water.  The paint is in excellent shape.  This unit has been pressure checked and a new impeller installed.  The wires are in good condition and have not been cut, burnt, or damaged.  The wires end in a female orange/black plug that has 5 holes and it not cracked, bent, or broken.  Please refer to the photos to verify what is included in this listing and the condition these parts are in prior to ordering.  Backed by a 1 year warranty for peace of mind, this is an excellent replacement for your motor.  Purchase with confidence!

You will receive two copies of the terms and conditions for the lower unit one year warranty. One copy MUST be signed and returned with your core. Without a returned signed copy, the one year warranty will not be valid.

The rotation for the lower unit is decided in the shift mechanism of the motor and the shift mechanism is programmed. So, an Evinrude dealer with the computer program can even change a lower unit from standard to counter rotating once the shift mechanism is installed. This is why they only sell one unit for both style motors.
