This is a complete Mercury power tilt/trim unit for 1960's 3, 4, and 6 cylinder inline engines. They used this trim system up until about 1986 or 87. This comes to you in working condition. It is complete with the rams, lines, and a working power tilt/trim motor and pump. This was taken off of an inine 6 and was fully tested up, down, and in the hold position.
This does not come with a switch. It's just a 3-way switch. I think we're selling a few right now, but you can pick them up pretty much anywhere and they go either to the dash or to the handle on the control box.
These units NEVER have good limit switches. Mercury made them cheap at that point, so they're never good. The limit switch serves to stop the engine from lifting when it's up out of the water. Taking your finger off of the button does the same thing so, without the limit switch, you have to turn your head and stop running it up or try and find the obsolete limit switch. No surprises.
