This lower unit spins and shift smoothly without binding. The driveshaft splines are in good shape. The propeller shaft is straight and the paint is in good condition. The oil was clean no signs of heavy metal or water. This unit did not pressure check and is leaking from the shift rod. A reseal is recommended due to its age. The driveshaft measures 19-1/4" from the top of the waterpump to the top of the shaft and has 9 splines. The prop shaft also has 9 splines. Please remember to add oil before installation.
