New-Generally in the package when possible but due to shelf time, these packages and boxes are sometimes dirty. This has been removed from the box due to storage. 

This empty gearcase housing is in great, new condition. This does not come with the trim tab or drain plug, but these can be used from your current housing. There is some minor scuffs on the side of the cavitation plate from shipping but it is still in great condition. This will make a great replacement for your motor!
