1 YEAR WARRANTY! Freshwater OMC Cobra 1986-1993 Lower Unit V4 2.3 3.0 L

This lower unit was removed from a freshwater setup, is in excellent used condition, and is ready for installation. All you have to do is add oil! We took the time to professionally clean and inspect this item to give you confidence in your purchase. The unit spins and shifts smoothly with no binding and the prop shaft in straight.  The driveshaft splines show little to no wear.  When drained of oil, the oil was clean and free of metal and water.  The gears and clutch are in great condition with a very slight notation of clutch wear.  The paint is a little banged up and the skeg has been ground and neither of those should affect the performance or integrity of this unit.  It has been fully resealed and pressure checked. The driveshaft measures 6 3/8" from the top of the water pump to the top of the shaft.  There are 20 splines on the driveshaft and 13 on the prop shaft.  Please refer to the photos to verify both what all is included in this listing and the condition that they are in.  

Please note - we have drained this unit of all oil prior to shipping and oil will need to be added prior to use.

To obtain the 1 year warranty, you MUST send in your core lower unit. We will even pay to have your core shipped to us! Below is the criteria required to validate the warranty:

• Core must be of rebuildable quality
• Cannot be locked up - driveshaft must spin
• Up to 30 days from the date of purchase to send in your core
• Covers mechanical aspects ONLY
• Warranty begins from date of purchase
• Core must be complete and cannot be missing parts

You will receive two copies of the terms and conditions for the lower unit 1 year warranty. One copy MUST be signed and returned with your core. Without a returned signed copy, the one year warranty will not be valid. 

Upon receipt of your core, we will inspect the unit to determine if it meets the criteria to validate the 1 year warranty. We reserve the right to accept or reject any core at our discretion.
