25 inch (XL model) shaft length. 12 pinion teeth, right hand rotation Fits the 3.0L Mercury Optimax or Pro XS, s/n 1B504989 and above.  This unit has 13 splines on the driveshaft and 15 splines on the propshaft.  This unit is brand new in box and in excellent condition. The pictures provided are still in the box to keep the unit from being damaged during shipping, but we have inspected the unit for any flaws. Given our unprecedented 1 year warranty on this lower unit, you will never find a better deal on an OEM lower unit.  Purchase with confidence!   

This lower unit qualifies for a 1 year warranty.  The warranty is validated by your core.  In order to qualify for this, you must send in that core.  Both shafts must spin and it must be complete.  We will send a label for you to return your core in our box after receipt of the unit you’ve purchased.  If you do not have a spinning core, you may call in after your purchase and buy the warranty for 10% of the purchase price.  If you do not return a core or purchase a warranty, this unit will be sold with a 45 day warranty and nothing more or less.
