879808T07 Mercury Optimax 1998-2006 DFI Dressed Powerhead 135 150 175 HP 2.5 L

• This is a fully dressed 2001 model 2.5L Mercury 150hp Optimax/DFI. 
• The only thing missing is the plastic covers and the studs.
• As a dressed powerhead, this can be installed on any mercury 2.5L Optimax from 1991 to 2006.
• Can confirm fitment on EFI motors from 1989 to 2003 with the exhaust plate option of the two holes in the back of the plate.
• Both pumps for the Vapor seperator were tested and did run however we are unable to check the condition of the interior of fuel lines or injector clogging.
• This engine is equipped with the black air injectors however cylinder 1 and 5 have been previously replaced with the blue style injectors.
• All air injectors were OHM's tested and read between 1.8 and 2.0. Passed Inspection.
• The fuel injectors were also tested and read between 2.2 and 2.4. Passed Inspection.
• Compression was tested on a cold engine and tested evenly 105 PSI across all cylinders.
• We are unable to test this motor at operating temp, however from the factory these are low compression motors and will only run around 90-110 PSI at operating temp in perfect conditions.
• This engine also has good spark and all wires and other components appear to be in great physical condition.
