DESCRIPTION:
Genuine Mercury OEM long shaft complete swivel bracket assembly with external power trim rams installed. Cast aluminum bracket, factory black finish. This is the full four-line external trim setup Mercury ran on inline 3/4/6 cylinder motors before integrated midsection trim took over — the rams mount to the outside of the transom brackets, four hydraulic lines run back to an in-boat pump. A complete and working trim ram assembly for this system is hard to come by because most original owners never replaced the rams and the systems got scrapped with the motor. Includes swivel pin, yoke, transom clamp brackets, both rams, and the hydraulic lines off the rams.

FITMENT:
Fits the four-line external power trim setup Mercury ran on inline 3, inline 4, and inline 6 cylinder motors from 1971 through 1990. Both the bracket casting and the ram system cross the full window. Many of these motors did not come with power trim from the factory — this assembly is the complete bracket-side installation needed to add trim to a manual-tilt motor in the same HP and year range.

Not every HP was produced every year within its window. This is the long shaft bracket — does NOT fit short shaft motors. Does NOT fit any 2-cylinder Mercury (35/40 HP inline-2 used a different system or no trim). Does NOT fit the early V6 (two-line trim system, different components).
