DESCRIPTION:
Genuine Mercury OEM long shaft complete swivel bracket assembly. Cast aluminum construction, factory black finish. The bracket casting Mercury used across a full generation of inline mid-HP motors — carried from the distributor-driven 65 HP 3-cyl era through the 50/60/70 HP 3-cyl family and across the inline-2 and inline-4 motors of the same window. Includes swivel pin, yoke, transom clamp brackets, and both shock absorbers (non-functional, see condition).

Fits the full Mercury inline mid-HP bracket family spanning 1971 through 1985. Mercury carried this casting across a generational ignition change, so fitment covers multiple engine architectures:
- Mercury 35 HP inline-2 — 1983 through 1988
- Mercury 45 HP inline-4 — 1984 through 1989
- Mercury 50 HP inline-3 — 1980 through 1990
- Mercury 60 HP inline-3 — 1980 through 1990
- Mercury 65 HP inline-3 — 1971 through 1978 (distributor-driven ignition)
- Mercury 70 HP inline-3 — 1980 through 1990
Not every HP was produced every year within its window. This is the long shaft bracket — does NOT fit short shaft motors. Does NOT fit the 40 HP inline-2 (different bracket family) or the 30 HP one-off motor.
