• This powerhead was removed from a 2003 135 HP freshwater engine.
• Compression readings were inconsistent and a little low.
• After opening the cylinder walls had no scoring so we are suggesting new rings need to be installed. At times, running these for an hour gets the oil heated up and rings expand again, so no work is required.  Inconsistent and evenly low readings happen with outboards that have long been held in storage
