Description

This listing is for a complete ignition system removed from a Mercury Optimax outboard engine.

This assembly includes the ECM, ignition coil plate, ignition coils, engine wiring harness, relay, and starter solenoid used on the early 2.5L Optimax platform.

These systems control both ignition timing and fuel injection through the DFI ECM and coil plate assembly.

Condition

• Removed from a freshwater engine
• Wiring insulation and connectors appear intact
• The starter solenoid housing is cracked and will need replaced (see photos)
• Normal cosmetic wear from use

The complete ignition system was tested for good spark on the engine prior to removal.

Mercury Optimax V6 — 2.5L

1999–2001

• 135 HP Optimax
• 150 HP Optimax

Warranty

All components in this ignition system are guaranteed for 1 year from the date of purchase through Southcentral Outboards.

If any component fails within this period, we will replace the faulty component. If a replacement is not available, a refund will be issued.
