This 4 stroke lower unit is in excellent condition and ready for use. There are some scuffs and scratches in the paint, but nothing that will affect the performance. The skeg has been rounded off slightly. The gears are in great condition with the slightest bit of wear. From the top of the water pump to the end of the driveshaft, it measures approximately 22 1/4" long and has 17 splines, the splines show slight wear. The propeller shaft has 13 splines. Please note that this does not come with the propeller, the propeller hardware, or the trim tab. This lower unit has been drained of oil and will need to be added prior to installation.

Criteria to validate your 1 year warranty:

  • You must return a spinning core to claim this warranty.  We will pay for the return on the core lower unit
  • Cannot be locked up - driveshaft must spin
  • Up to 30 days from the date of purchase to send in your core.
  • Covers mechanical aspects ONLY.
  • Warranty begins from date of purchase.

You will receive two copies of the terms and conditions for the lower unit 1 year warranty. One copy is for your records and the other copy MUST be signed and returned with your core. Without a returned signed copy, the 1 year warranty will not be valid. You are responsible for returning the paperwork with your core. The 1 year warranty ONLY covers the mechanical aspects of the lower unit. 


Upon receipt of your core, we will inspect the unit to determine if it meets the criteria to validate the 1 year warranty. We reserve the right to accept or reject any core at our discretion. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us!
