This removed from a freshwater engine and is in great condition. The mounting holes are in good condition and are not damaged in any way. None of the wires have been cut, burnt, or damaged. There are some scuffs and scratches here and there, but this is entirely cosmetic. There are no cracks or breaks. This will make a great replacement. 

At this time, we are unable to bench test this item. We are now offering a 1 year mechanical warranty for this part. Should you have any problems within this time frame, we will simply refund/replace the item as necessary. Purchase with confidence!
