This was removed from a freshwater engine and has been fully resealed with a new impeller. There are 14 splines on the driveshaft, and 13 splines on the propeller shaft. The driveshaft measures 20 3/4" inches from the top of the waterpump to the end of the shaft. All of the splines on the driveshaft and propeller shaft are in good condition, with little signs of wear. This lower unit does not come with the trim tab, propeller, or propeller hardware. The skeg has a small 1" crack, see pictures. There are some scuffs and scratches in the paint on the unit, but this is entirely cosmetic. Due to shipping restrictions, we are not able to ship units with oil in them. The oil has been drained and will need to added prior to installation. Purchase with confidence!

To obtain the 1 year warranty, you MUST send in your core lower unit. We will even pay to have your core shipped to us! Below is the criteria required to validate the warranty:

Core must be of rebuildable quality
Cannot be locked up - driveshaft must spin
Up to 30 days from the date of purchase to send in your core
Covers mechanical aspects ONLY
Warranty begins from date of purchase
Core must be complete and cannot be missing parts

You will receive two copies of the terms and conditions for the lower unit 1 year warranty. One copy is for your records and the other copy MUST be signed and returned with your core. Without a returned signed copy, the warranty will not be valid. You are responsible for returning the paperwork with your core. The warranty ONLY covers the mechanical aspects of the lower unit.

Upon receipt of your core, we will inspect the unit to determine if it meets the criteria to validate the 1 year warranty. When you receive your purchased lower unit, there will be installation paperwork included in the package. One copy of the paperwork must be signed returned with your core. If it does not, you will be contacted and granted a 30 day warranty. We reserve the right to accept or reject any core at our discretion
