This hood was removed from a freshwater engine. Upon inspection, we did notice that there is some damage to the fiberglass on one of the corners, but this does not go all of the way through the hood. There are some cosmetic flaws in the paint and decals, but this is purely cosmetic. Please note that this does not come with a seal. The vents show no signs of cracking or breaking. The foam on the inside does have some tearing, but this will not affect the overall performance. There is nothing stopping this from making a great replacement for your motor. 

Please note that we have written our inventory number on the cowling for location purposes. This will be removed prior to shipping.

Also, please note that we DO NOT accept returns for our hood cowlings. Please verify by pictures AND part number that this is the correct hood for your motor prior to purchasing.
