| Additional Info | This Evinrude EMM was removed from a freshwater Evinrude 40 HP engine. Since this was removed from a 40 HP engine it will not have to be reprogrammed if you also have a 40 HP, but if you have any other horsepower that this assembly fits, it WILL have to be reprogrammed to your motor. Upon our inspection, we did notice cracks and breaks in the plastic, but the mounting holes are intact. The potting on this EMM is a little faulty, but this should not affect the overall performance. All the prongs are in great shape and show no damage whatsoever. This would be a great replacement part for your outboard! |
