This lower unit was removed from a freshwater engine from a standard rotation DF115AT & AZ DF140AT & AZ models. From the top of the water pump to the end of the shaft, it measures approximately 23-1/2" long and has 22 splines. The propeller shaft has 15 splines. This unit is in working condition but the cabitation plate is wrecked at the trailing edge. It would work as a budget replacement or it would work for gears, shafts, etc. Aside from the housing, there is nothing wrong with this lower unit. It holds pressure at 12 PSI, it shifts and spins smoothly, the propshaft is straight and the oil looked new. The engine had 80 hours on it but the cavitation plate was broken in the back end. This unit will come exactly as pictured and we are putting a 6 month warranty on this (with the return of your core) that applies to everything but the housing. We have drained the unit of oil and this will have to be added prior to installation. Purchase with confidence! We do not take returns on incorrectly ordered items. This product is still covered by the mechanical warranty, offered in exchange for your core, that we have stated in the listing. To obtain the 6 month warranty, you MUST send in your core lower unit. You will receive two copies of the terms and conditions for the lower unit 6 month warranty. One copy MUST be signed and returned with your core. Without a returned signed copy, the 6 month warranty will not be valid. Upon receipt of your core, we will inspect the unit to determine if it meets the criteria to validate the 6 month warranty. We reserve the right to accept or reject any core at our discretion. |
