439765 Johnson Evinrude 1999-2000 FICHT Powerhead 200 225 250 HP V6 NO SCORING

This powerhead came in with a blown head gasket.  The injectors were removed and the head was loose.  Upon pulling the heads, we found a little light surface rust on the top cylinder (#1).  This was cleaned up with a red pad in about 10 seconds of work and there is no scoring whatsoever. 

This powerhead is absolutely ready to install with a new set of head gaskets.  It is clearly a freshwater engine and clearly in good condition.  No issues found whatsoever. 

Because the injectors were off by the time we got this, we were only able to pull compression readings on the port side.  Each of those had 120 psi even.  The starboard side had the head already loose and the injectors removed so we weren’t able to run a compression check but there is no grooving and this is good to go.
