No grooving on cylinders.

This is a rebuilable powerhead, complete with pistons, crankshaft, connecting rods, bolts, and so forth (as pictured). This does come with both the port and the starboard cylinder head. Please note that we have removed all of the gaskets, including the cylinder head gaskets. These will need to be replaced prior to use! Purchase with confidence!

This powerhead has a hole (bushing) on top of the block where the shaft for the starter Bendix sits. We have circled it in paint pen. That bushing is wallowed out. This block will need to go to a machine shop, have a new bushing, part number 341613, inserted and probably drilled to the right size. It may be possible for the customer to have his/her old bushing from their original block taken out and used to replace this.

Compression on this engine checked out excellent at the following:

1: 100 PSI

2: 103 PSI

3: 98 PSI
