This powerhead is in good condition and ready for use. It was removed from a freshwater engine. When we recieved this powerhead, it was already partially disassembled. Since it was not a fully dressed powerhead, we were unable to run a spark and a compression test. The motor does turn free. When we removed the cylinder heads, we did not notice any scoring on the cylinder walls. The cylinder walls even still had cross hatching on them. Since we had to removed the cylinder heads for the inspection, new head gaskets will need to be added prior to use as well as the base gasket. There is nothing stopping this from making a great replacement for your motor! |
