• This lower unit was removed from a freshwater engine and in good used condition.
• This unit shifts and spins smoothly with no binding. 
• The prop shaft was inspected and is straight. 
• The driveshaft splines are showing slight wear. 
• The unit was drained of all oil and inspected and found to have no metal or water in the oil. 
• The gears and clutch are in great condition with very slight clutch wear. 
• This unit has been fully resealed and pressure checked with a new impeller installed. 
• From the top of the water pump to the end of the shaft, the driveshaft measures approximately 26 3/4" long and has 13 splines. 
• The propeller shaft has 15 splines.

This product is still covered by the mechanical warranty, offered in exchange for your core, that we have stated in the listing.

This lower unit qualifies for a 1 year warranty.  The warranty is validated by your core.  In order to qualify for this, you must send in that core.  Both shafts must spin and it must be complete.  We will send a label for you to return your core in our box after receipt of the unit you’ve purchased.  If you do not have a spinning core, you may call in after your purchase and buy the 1 year warranty for 10% of the purchase price.  If you do not return a core or purchase a warranty, this unit will be sold with a 45 day warranty and nothing more or less.
