This lower unit is being sold as is. The propeller shaft has 13 splines. The driveshaft measures approximately 21-1/2"has 14 splines that are showing slight wear. Paint is rough. The cavitation plate is broken - please see photos. This unit spins and shifts smoothly. The prop shaft is straight. The case is broken by the prop shaft and the cavitation plate is cracked. Unit did pressue check. We are unable to ship this with oil in, so you must add oil before use. General Information

The later 25 HP motors joined with the 35 HP having a single-piece unit and this will not fit on those engines. Depending on the year of your motor, there was a simple break down for the split case units.... 1978 - 4 spline driveshaft - 13 spline propeller shaft 1979-1983 - Fine splined driveshaft - 13 spline propeller shaft 1984-1997 - 14 spline driveshaft - 13 spline propeller shaft We have provided this cross-reference with the resources we have available in regards to fitment. This most likely will not fit every model for the years and horsepowers we have listed.
