This lower unit was removed from a freshwater engine and is ready for use. We purchased the motor that this lower unit was removed from our local marina. At the time of purchase, the motor only had 10 hours on it! The boat this was removed from had hit a dike and flipped causing the damage to the skeg. Other than theat, the unit is mechanically sound. A seen in the pictures, this does not come with the trim tab. The intake screens are in perfect shape and are not broken or cracked. From the top of the water pump to the end of the shaft, it measures approximately 23-5/8" long and has 22 splines. The propeller shaft has 15 splines. All the splines are in like-new condition and are not damaged in anyway. This unit will come exactly as pictured. The paint does have some scuffs and scratches, but nothing that will affect performance. There are not any cracks or breaks. We have drained the unit of oil and this will have to be added prior to installation. Purchase with confidence! We do not take returns on incorrectly ordered items. If you are unsure whether this is the correct lower unit and correct length driveshaft for your application please contact us and we will be happy to help you buy the correct product. This product is still covered by the mechanical warranty, offered in exchange for your core, that we have stated in the listing. To obtain the 1 year warranty, you MUST send in your core lower unit.
