This specific lower unit is in excellent condition and is ready for installation. Please note that we have taken the time to strip and prime this lower unit, so it is ready for a new fresh coat of paint. There are not any cracks or breaks in the housing of the unit. This does come with the trim tab and the anode. Upon inspection, we can note that the gears are in great condition. There is some minor in the housing, but this will not affect the performance, please see pictures. Please note that the skeg on this lower unit has been welded, but this will not affect the overall performance of this lower unit. From the top of the water pump to the end of the shaft, the driveshaft measures approximately 23-1/2" long and has 22 splines. The propeller shaft has 15 splines. Given our unprecedented 1 year warranty on every lower unit, you will never find a better deal on an OEM lower unit. Please make sure to add oil before use. Purchase with confidence!

To obtain the 1 year warranty, you MUST send in your core lower unit. We will even pay to have your core shipped to us! Below is the criteria required to validate the warranty:

• Core must be of rebuildable quality
• Cannot be locked up - driveshaft must spin
• Up to 30 days from the date of purchase to send in your core
• Covers mechanical aspects ONLY
• Warranty begins from date of purchase
• Core must be complete and cannot be missing parts
  
  

Upon receipt of your core, we will inspect the unit to determine if it meets the criteria to validate the 1 year warranty. When you receive your purchased lower unit, there will be installation paperwork included in the package. One copy of the paperwork must be signed returned with your core. If it does not, you will be contacted and granted a 30 day warranty. We reserve the right to accept or reject any core at our discretion.
