This was removed from a freshwater Johnson engine. The seal on the bottom of this cowl is in great condition. As seen in the pictures, there is a crack on the side of the fiberglass that does go through to the otherside of the cowling. The decals are in excellent condition and are not peeling or ripped. The latches are fully intact inside the hood and this item is engine-ready. There are a few light scratches on the hood, but this is entirely cosmetic and will not effect the overall performance. Other than that, this cowling will still make an excellent replacement for your outboard.
