This outboard is a 20" long shaft with the high output motor. The high output is said to take the horsepower from 250 to 274. This unit will come with a binnacle control box with key, harness, and 18' throttle cables. The exterior is in great condition with only a few scratches on the top cowl and one on the lower. The engine was taken off of a pontoon boat and shows hardly any signs of wear. It does have a stainless Viper propeller (14 3/4 x 17). The lower unit is low water pickup.
This is a running engine with no mechanical issues whatsoever. There was a fault on the starter solenoid that has been repaired already. It does come with the Engine Identification Report. While we offer a 30 day warranty on the engine ourselves, Evinrude has very graciously extended a 6 month factory warranty on the engine, from the date of sale. This was due to the exceptionally low hours on the engine, and the fact that it was only returned in order to facilitate a sale on a larger engine. Blue book for this engine, in average condition, is 14,180. This engine is in far better than average condition. This engine is available for local pickup in Beecher City Illinois, which will lower the total cost of the engine. Our zipcode is 62414. We are located 90 minutes east of St. Louis. We are willing to ship this, but you will need to contact us prior to purchase to arrange that. I am also willing to deliver this for a fee (depending on your location, shipping charge may cover delivery). Beyond that, we can discuss. If you are a dealer or individual, we may be willing to do a partial trade against the shipping or the price of this engine for non-running outboards or parts.
