This is a complete, running 2023 Suzuki DF200A purchased new and used for a single 2-hour break-in run. On the way home from that trip, the boat was rear-ended. The collision damaged the swivel bracket, cowlings, power trim, and lower unit housing.
A local Suzuki mechanic pulled the powerhead, installed the replacement components below, and reinstalled it. All work was completed within the past year. The engine was then drained and has been stored on an indoor rack since. The project boat moved on with a different engine.

Add oil, source the bottom cowlings, and this engine is ready for your boat. There is no damage remaining that would prevent normal use. Some cosmetic scratching is present; touch-up paint on the skeg and lower unit housing would be worthwhile. Prior to being parked, this engine was run in freshwater only. Break-in note: with only 2 hours on the clock, this engine has not completed its break-in. The buyer should follow Suzuki’s standard break-in procedure before running at full throttle.
This engine was never registered. It’s worth asking a Suzuki dealer whether registration is still possible — we make no promises, but the window may still be open.
