When we opened this up, we noticed that the gears were in great condition. There are scuffs and scratches in the paint, but nothing that will affect performance and is very common in lower units. There is a minor bend to the skeg, but this will not affect the overall performance. The anode of this lower unit does show minor pitting, but it still has a long life ahead of it. This lower unit does come with the trim tab. It does not come with the propeller or the propeller hardware. There is nothing stopping this lower unit from being a great replacement! Purcahse with confidence!
