This was removed from a freshwater engine. There are 18 splines on the driveshaft, and 15 splines on the propeller shaft. The driveshaft measures 20-3/4" inches from the top of the waterpump to the end of the shaft. All of the splines on the driveshaft and propeller shaft are in good condition, with little signs of wear. This lower unit does not come with the trim tab, propeller, or propeller hardware. The clutch and gears are in like new condition. There are some scuffs and scratches in the paint on the unit, but this is entirely cosmetic. The cavitation plate has 4 holes drilled in it from prior planing fin use, see pictures. Due to shipping restrictions, we are not able to ship units with oil in them. The oil has been drained and will need to be re-added prior to installation. Purchase with confidence!

To obtain the 1 year warranty, you MUST send in your core lower unit. We will even pay to have your core shipped to us! Below is the criteria required to validate the warranty:

Core must be of rebuildable quality
Cannot be locked up - driveshaft must spin
Up to 30 days from the date of purchase to send in your core
Covers mechanical aspects ONLY
Warranty begins from date of purchase
Core must be complete and cannot be missing parts

You will receive two copies of the terms and conditions for the lower unit 1 year warranty. One copy MUST be signed and returned with your core. Without a returned signed copy, the 1 year warranty will not be valid.
