When we opened this up, we noticed that the gears were in great condition. There are scuffs and scratches in the paint, but nothing that will affect performance and is very common in lower units. We have even taken the time to add on a new skeggard, which is a $100 value itself. This lower unit does not come with the trim tab, propeller, or the propeller hardware. There is nothing stopping this lower unit from being a great replacement! Purcahse with confidence!
