When we opened this up, we noticed that the gears were like-new. There are scuffs and scratches in the paint, but nothing that will affect performance and is very common in lower units. This does not come with the trim tab, but the one from your current lower unit can be used. Please note that there are holes in the cavitation plate where a planing fin once was. There is nothing stopping this lower unit from being a great replacement! Purchase with confidence!
