When we opened this up, we noticed that the gears look almost brand new. There are scuffs and scratches in the paint, but nothing that will affect performance and is very common in lower units. This does come with the trim tab and zinc anode. Upon inspection, we did notice some pre-drilled holes in the cavitation plate where a planing fin can be added. There is some wear around the paint and the edge of the skeg, but nothing that will affect performance. There is nothing stopping this lower unit from being a great replacement!
