When we opened this up, we noticed that the gears are in excellent condition. There are scuffs and scratches in the paint, but nothing that will affect performance and is very common in lower units. This does not come with the trim tab, but the one from your current lower unit can be used. We have taken the time to add a new skeggard to the bottom of this lower unit, which is a $100 added value by itself. Upon inspection of the unit, we did notice and indentation on the front of the unit by the nose of the unit. Please see pictures. There is nothing stopping this lower unit from being a great replacement! Purcahse with confidence!
