Fully resealed and pressure tested lower unit for the 1998 and up Mercury L3 75, 80, 85 & 90 HP family. Gears are replaced only if found to be bad — good OEM gears are retained.

What We Did
◆ Resealed — new seals and new water pump impeller installed
◆ Pressure tested — held steady for a full 10 minutes with no leaks
◆ Fully disassembled and inspected under magnification — all wear surfaces good
◆ Gear teeth inspected — good; gears replaced only if found to be bad, good OEM gears are retained
◆ Shift operation tested and verified
◆ Driveshaft and prop shaft checked for straightness — both straight
◆ Holes in the cavitation plate were filled during the paint process
◆ Stripped, primed, and professionally painted
Gear oil is NOT included — oil must be added prior to use.

◆ If a core is neither returned nor a warranty purchased, coverage is limited to the 30/60 day return windows below — the 1 year warranty will not apply.
What counts as a valid core
◆ It must turn — the driveshaft and prop shaft must rotate. Locked-up or seized units do not qualify.
◆ The case must be intact — no holes blown through the side of the housing. A gear coming through the case usually means everything inside is destroyed.
◆ Normal wear, scrapes, worn paint, and skeg damage are all perfectly fine.
