1997-2002 Honda 20" Long Lower Unit 8 9.9 15 HP 2 Cyl 11/8 splines 6 MONTH WTY

This Honda lower unit was removed from a freshwater engine and is in good condition. The paint on the outside of the unit is scuffed and scratched, but this is entirely cosmetic. There are not any cracks or breaks. The propeller shaft on this unit is straight and has 11 splines.  It does shift in and out of gear and the gears are in like new condition. From the top of the water pump, the driveshaft measures approximately 17 3/4" long and has 8 splines. This is a long shaft unit. Also, please note that we have drained all the oil out of the unit and if you're ready to rebuild, oil will need to be added prior to installation. The housing is in excellent condition. The impeller may need changed.

Criteria to validate your 6 month warranty:

• You must return a spinning core to claim this warranty.  We will pay for the return on the core lower unit
• Cannot be locked up - driveshaft must spin
• Up to 30 days from the date of purchase to send in your core.
• Covers mechanical aspects ONLY.
• Warranty begins from date of purchase.

You will receive two copies of the terms and conditions for the lower unit 6 month warranty. One copy is for your records and the other copy MUST be signed and returned with your core. Without a returned signed copy, the 6 month warranty will not be valid. You are responsible for returning the paperwork with your core. The 6 month warranty ONLY covers the mechanical aspects of the lower unit. We have a 30-day return policy for all circumstances
