6 MTH WTY FRESHWATER 1994 & UP Mercury Force 20" Lower Unit 30+HP 2:1 - 2 Stroke

This lower unit was removed from a freshwater motor, is in excellent condition, and is ready for installation. All you have to do is add oil! We took the time to professionally clean and inspect this item to give you confidence in your purchase. This unit spins and shifts smoothly with no binding and the prop shaft is straight.  The driveshaft splines are showing slight wear.  When drained of oil, it was clean and had no traces of water or metal.  The paint has some scuffs and scratches, see pictures. From the top of the water pump to the end, the driveshaft measures approximately 21-1/2" long and has a 14/13 spline count. All of the splines are in great shape and the skeg is not cracked or broken.  There is a small tear in the rubber boot on the shift rod and this should not affect performance.  This unit was pressure check with a new impeller installed.  We are offering a 6 MONTH WARRANTY on this lower unit with a core return so that you can purchase with confidence!

**Due to shipping restrictions, lower units are shipped empty. Every lower unit requires new oil to be installed when you receive it.

To obtain the 6 month warranty, you MUST send in your core lower unit. We will even pay to have your core shipped to us! Below is the criteria required to validate the warranty:

• Core must be of rebuildable quality
• Cannot be locked up - driveshaft must spin
• Up to 30 days from the date of purchase to send in your core
• Covers mechanical aspects ONLY
• Warranty begins from date of purchase
• Core must be complete and cannot be missing parts

You will receive two copies of the terms and conditions for the lower unit 6 month warranty. One copy MUST be signed and returned with your core. Without a returned signed copy, the 6 month warranty will not be valid. 

Upon receipt of your core, we will inspect the unit to determine if it meets the criteria to validate the 6 month warranty. We reserve the right to accept or reject any core at our discretion.

We have provided this cross-reference with the resources we have available in regards to fitment. This most likely will not fit every model for the years and horsepowers we have listed.
