This powerhead was removed from a freshwater engine and is in excellent condition. The only issue with the motor that this was removed from was the lower unit. Upon bringing this engine to our shop, we have independently verified compression readings on this powerhead by our mechanics. We did removed the cylinder head and the cylinder walls still showed signs of crosshatching. The readings on the cylinders was 145/145. The engine has solid blue spark, as it should.
We haven't started the engine and therefore the carburetors and VRO may need to be rebuilt. It has 50 HP carburetors on it. Please note that one of the rubber hoses will also need to be replaced as well as the gaskets.
