This lower unit was removed from freshwater engine. We have taken the time to inspect and pressure check this lower unit. The splines on both the driveshaft and the propeller shaft are in excellent condition. The intake screens are in great condition as well and are not cracked or broken. Please note that this does not come with the trim tab, but this can be used from your current lower unit housing. While there are some minor cosmetic flaws in the paint, primarily in the skeg, this is entirely cosmetic. This will make a great replacement for your outboard! Please add oil prior to use. Purchase with confidence! We do not take returns on incorrectly ordered items. If you are unsure whether this is the correct lower unit and correct length driveshaft for your application please contact us and we will be happy to help you buy the correct product. This product is still covered by the mechanical warranty, offered in exchange for your core, that we have stated in the listing. Without a returned signed copy, the one year warranty will not be valid. Upon receipt of your core, we will inspect the unit to determine if it meets the criteria to validate the 1 year warranty.
