• This Johnson Evinrude lower unit is a counter rotoating unit.
• The paint is scuffed and scratched, but this is entirely cosmetic and will not affect performance. 
• This unit turns and shifts smoothly.
• The oil was free and clean of water and metal 
• From the base of the water pump to the top, the driveshaft measures approximately 18 1/2" long and has 20 splines.
• The propeller shaft has 15 splines.
• The bearing carrier has been replaced with a new OEM replacement
•  Also, please note that this does not come with the propeller, propeller hardware, or trim tab.
• All of these things can be used from your current lower unit.

**Due to shipping restrictions, lower unit are shipped empty. Every lower unit requires new oil to be installed when you receive it.

To obtain the 1 year warranty, you MUST send in your core lower unit. We will even pay to have your core shipped to us! Below is the criteria required to validate the warranty:

• Core must be of rebuildable quality
• Cannot be locked up - driveshaft must spin
• Up to 30 days from the date of purchase to send in your core
• Covers mechanical aspects ONLY
• Warranty begins from date of purchase
• Core must be complete and cannot be missing parts
  
  

You will receive two copies of the terms and conditions for the lower unit six month warranty. One copy MUST be signed and returned with your core. Without a returned signed copy, the 1 year warranty will not be valid. 

Upon receipt of your core, we will inspect the unit to determine if it meets the criteria to validate the 1 year warranty. We reserve the right to accept or reject any core at our discretion. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us and we would be happy to help!
