This lower unit qualifies for a 1 year warranty.  The warranty is validated by your core.  In order to qualify for this, you must send in that core.  Both shafts must spin and it must be complete.  We will send a label for you to return your core in our box after receipt of the unit you’ve purchased.  If you do not have a spinning core, you may call in after your purchase and buy the 1 year warranty for 10% of the purchase price.  If you do not return a core or purchase a warranty, this unit will be sold with a 45 day warranty and nothing more or less.

This lower unit will fit all Johnson and Evinrude V6’s from 1991-2008.  It may fit a few more but please verify with a dealer. This includes the 150, 175, 200, 225, and 250 HP-both Ficht and carbureted engines. If your V6 has a 2 piece driveshaft, this will interchange with it. Please note that it is possible to have to change the upper driveshaft and shift rod from your old unit to this one. We can help with this and if you’re uncomfortable with it, please contact us at 618 487 9499 and we can even arrange to do it for you. However, it isn’t particularly hard and can be done by anyone with basic mechanical knowledge at home.
