1991-2008 Johnson Evinrude Magnum I 25" Lower Unit 150 175 200 225 + 1 YEAR WTY

This lower unit was removed from a freshwater engine. We have taken the time to strip and prime this unit, it can be used as is or roughed up and repainted to your preference. The skeg is in good condition with no bends but minor chips. This does not come with the trim tab, propeller or the prop hardware. The intake screens are in good condition with no cracks or breaks. Please note that due to shipping restrictions we cannot ship this with oil in and this will need to be added before first use.

We do not take returns on incorrectly ordered items. This product is still covered by the mechanical warranty, offered in exchange for your core, that we have stated in the listing.

Driveshaft measures - 24-1/4" from top of water pump housing to top of driveshaft.

Criteria to validate your 1 year warranty:

• Core must be of equal or greater value
• Cannot be locked up - driveshaft must spin
• Up to 30 days from the date of purchase to send in your core
• Covers mechanical aspects ONLY
• Warranty begins from date of purchase

You will receive two copies of the terms and conditions for the lower unit one year warranty. One copy MUST be signed and returned with your core. Without a returned signed copy, the one year warranty will not be valid. 

Upon receipt of your core, we will inspect the unit to determine if it meets the criteria to validate the 1 year warranty. We reserve the right to accept or reject any core at our discretion. This lower unit will fit all Johnson and Evinrude V6’s from 1991-2008.  It may fit a few more but please verify with a dealer. This includes the 150, 175, 200, 225, and 250 HP-both Ficht and carbureted engines. If your V6 has a 2 piece driveshaft, this will interchange with it. Please note that it is possible to have to change the upper driveshaft and shift rod from your old unit to this one. We can help with this and if you’re uncomfortable with it, please contact us at 618 487 9499 and we can even arrange to do it for you. However, it isn’t particularly hard and can be done by anyone with basic mechanical knowledge at home.
