This lower unit was removed from a freshwater engine. The paint is rough in areas, please see pictures. This is purely cosmetic and will not affect the overall performance. This unit has been fully disassembled. The gears, bearings, and inside of the housing are in brand new condition. Please note that this does not come with the trim tab. There is no metal in the case, the shafts are straight, and the unit shifts and operates smoothly. Driveshaft measures - 18-1/4" from top of water pump housing to top of driveshaft. Criteria to validate your 1 year warranty:
Upon receipt of your core, we will inspect the unit to determine if it meets the criteria to validate the 1 year warranty. When you receive your purchased lower unit, there will be installation paperwork included in the package. One copy of the paperwork must be signed returned with your core. If it does not, you will be contacted and granted a 30 day warranty. We reserve the right to accept or reject any core at our discretion. | Fits: | 1991-2008 - 150 175 200 225 250 HP **Please note that this does have a two piece driveshaft.** This lower unit will fit all Johnson and Evinrude V6’s from 1991-2008. It may fit a few more but please verify with a dealer. This includes the 150, 175, 200, 225, and 250 HP-both Ficht and carbureted engines. If your V6 has a 2 piece driveshaft, this will interchange with it. Please note that it is possible to have to change the upper driveshaft and shift rod from your old unit to this one. We can help with this and if you’re uncomfortable with it, please contact us at 618 487 9499 and we can even arrange to do it for you. However, it isn’t particularly hard and can be done by anyone with basic mechanical knowledge at home. |
