1991-2006 Mercury 20" Lower Unit 50 55 60 HP 3 Cylinder 2 Stroke 1 YR WTY

This lower unit was removed from a freshwater engine and is in excellent condition. From the top of the water pump to the end of the driveshaft, it measures approximately 20-9/10" long and has 11 splines. The spline count on the propeller shaft is 13. All of the splines are in great condition with just slight wear on the driveshaft splines. When we opened this lower unit the gears looked great. The clutch had just some slight wear. The units oil was clean and free of metal and water. The shafts are straight and shift/turn smoothly with no binding. There are some tooling marks in the driveshaft, however, that will not affect performance. We installed a new impeller and this unit holds pressure. There are only very minor cosmetic flaws in the paint, such as scuffs and scratches, but this is purely cosmetic. Please note that this lower unit does not come with the trim tab, the propeller or the propeller hardware. 

Please remember to add oil before use.

You will receive two copies of the terms and conditions for the lower unit one year warranty. One copy MUST be signed and returned with your core. Without a returned signed copy, the one year warranty will not be valid. 

Upon receipt of your core, we will inspect the unit to determine if it meets the criteria to validate the 1 year warranty. We reserve the right to accept or reject any core at our discretion. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us and we would be happy to help!
